Children in Iran are being punished based on the faith of their parents While Zoroastrianism is a recognized faith in Iran, this news is still pertinent, showing the mentality of the Islamist government
From veteran Parsi journalist Coomi Kapoor; a definitive book about her community, The Tatas, Freddie Mercury & Other Bawas: An Intimate History of the Parsi This is a Q&A with Coomi Kapoor. I might as well take the chance here to ask the Parsi community members reading this to promote large families, taking initiative of Indian government's Jiyo Parsi
After being translated into Kurdish, the book "Avesta Nivîsên Olî yên Ariyan ên Herî Kevnar” (The Religious Tenets of the Most Holiest Text Avesta) has been translated into Turkish and is avaliable for purchase

Imagine this, a game mode where you can have every slot be an exotic. It would be like mayhem but with exotics. Everyone would be so overpowered and practically unkillable. What are your thoughts on this?

2021.09.27 05:04 IntellectualShiitake How Soon Should I Follow Up With Neurologist To Discuss Muscle Biopsy Results
39M, 5’ 11”, 225 lbs, non smoker, no alcohol or recreational drugs. Diagnosed with common variable immunodeficiency, cervical dystonia, low testosterone, growth hormone deficiency, high blood pressure, ehler danlos. Rhabdomyolysis one time. Cause undetermined. Possibly due to over exertion.
I recently had a muscle biopsy. I have been experiencing some muscle weakness, quite a bit of musculoskeletal pain and there was some concern that I had a metabolic myopathy when I had a muscle biopsy to help determine the cause of rhabdomyolysis. The rhabdo was back in 2014 and only occurred that one time. Ck levels were 128,000 when they were checked.
I had a handful of other tests that were all negative. The GAD65 AB test was positive.
Your Value 15.0 U/mL
Standard Range 0.0 - 5.0 U/mL
Results of the muscle biopsy:
FEATURES SUGGESTIVE OF MILD NEUROGENIC ATROPHY, SEE COMMENT. COMMENT: Thank you for the opportunity to review this interesting and challenging case in consultation. This skeletal muscle biopsy shows occasional small angular fibers (variably stained with esterase) as well as very rare nuclear bags and occasional intermediate staining fibers (acid ATPase); together these features are suggestive of a mild neurogenic process. Features which would indicate one or more repeated cycles of denervation and reinnervation (e.g. myofiber type grouping in the minority fiber type and/or grouped atrophy) are not noted.
I can post the whole thing if needed. This is just the summary.
I need to follow up with the neurologist that ordered all the testing, but I start a new job tomorrow and won’t be able to for a little while. After making the mistake of googling some of the things in the summary of the biopsy and about the GAD65 test, I have freaked myself out a bit.
I am not looking for a diagnosis from anyone here. I am wondering if I should make time to follow up with the neurologist as soon as I can or if these results most likely don’t mean anything and I am fine to wait till I settle in at work more. Sorry for the wordy post and too much information. Thanks for taking the time to read.

2021.09.27 05:04 AffectionateMind26 I pay some of my employees through Crypto, and they are very happy about it.
So 3 months back, one of my employees requested me to pay him in Bitcoin. I told him, if he can get atleast 4 more people to agree to this system, we can do it. He came back with 6 other people who were interested in taking their salaries in bitcoin. And that was it. I was surprised to see the number of people that are willing to do this and I was excited.
Ofcourse we chose an easy Manual process of transferring Bitcoin to their wallets, because there were only 7 people.
This helped them to only take out money they had to spend and keep rest of it in their wallets. Most of them have saved more money than they have ever saved in their previous jobs, even if it was just 3 months salary.
If more than 10-15 people show the interest of joining this payment system, we will look into creating or using an automatic payment system, which will smoothen the process.
Is it legal?
The biggest challenge with cryptocurrencies from a payroll perspective is that there is no yes or no answer to the question of the legality of cryptocurrencies, bitcoin included. No central bank in the world has approved crypto as an established means of payment, which makes it difficult for payroll departments to rely on bitcoin as a payment method on par with traditional or fiat currencies.
Though employees can choose the way of payment and currency of it. If an employee signs a document stating he want to get paid in X Amount of chairs. Then that would be a legal wage.
How do we do it?
We use Binance exchange to transfer from wallet to wallet. They later on use P2P method to convert their Crypto into fiat and later on withdraw it if they want to.
5 people get paid in bitcoin and 2 have been paid in Ethereum.
Crypto adoption will only gain good speed if we all do our parts. Its a bit difficult to do at this moment, but spending 15-30 mins more is totally worth it in the long term.
